My Morning Routine I started about 4-5 weeks ago:
(By the way, this shit is fucking legit. It has changed my life already. I mean I have put a lot of other hard work in too. But, the changes I have seen in 4-5 weeks is quite impressive in my opinion. I’m less anxious, I’m more confident, I’m more ferocious, I’m mentally stronger. It makes me feel like I’m made of steel).
(1) Wake up:
I wake up whenever I wake up, which is usually around 5:30 am-6:30 am. I rarely get up later than 6:30 am.I wake up early because I am excited for the day.
I am excited for the day because I think about who I am becoming, what I am achieving and where I am going more than I think about how much I love sleep and sleep ins (Like a little bitch would).
(2) Meditate 5 mins:
After waking up I meditate for 5 mins every morning. My meditation involves focusing my awareness on my breath and on nothing else.
I do this early in the morning because it aids me in becoming more conscious of my thoughts throughout the day.
Why do I want to be conscious of my thoughts?
BECAUSE YOU ARE WHAT YOU THINK.
I want to be aware if I am drifting off into a negative thought pattern, so that I can stop it and swap it with a positive one.
I know that overtime the new POSITIVE thought patterns will become habit and start to occur automatically e.g. AUTO PILOT MODE.
When I meditate I sit cross legged on my couch, with my eyes closed and aim to make every breath come from my stomach rather than my chest. I do this because breathing from your stomach makes you calmer and brings more oxygen to the body, which along with food and water are the only 3 things your cells need to SURVIVE.
When I meditate I listen to “528 Hz The Miracle Tone” on Spotify. I find it puts me into a really good trance and hypnotic like state to prepare me for my next task – visualisation.
(3) Visualisation 5 mins:
Your brain cannot tell the difference between something you imagine and something you see in real life. Therefore if you want to get better at public speaking, you can visualise your upcoming speech going awesome, you nailing it and receiving a standing ovation.
Your brain will believe this is real, which will cause you to form new neural pathways of confidence and success.
Neural pathways are programs/habits.
Your life is pretty much 95% pre programed neural pathway habits.
Form new habits, have new breakthroughs.
I commonly visualise myself laughing, smiling, succeeding at upcoming goals (e.g. standing ovation for a Toastmasters speech), attaining my yearly goal of earning $10,000 a month from my media outlets e.g. blogging, youtube, coaching etc.
(4) Freezing cold shower for 2 min:
This exercise seperates the men from the boys.
I do this to train my mind and body that when I say we are fucking doing something… WE ARE FUCKING DOING SOMETHING.
By the way, it is impossible to feel bad after a freezing cold shower. A freezing cold shower always makes me feel like a million bucks and I do it to pump myself up for the next exercise – Mirror talk.
(5) Mirror talk 5 mins:
For this exercise I stand in front of the mirror.
Look at myself right in the eyes….And tell myself…
THAT I LOVE MYSELF. THAT I CHOSE ME. THAT IT’S ME FIRST, THEN EVERYBODY ELSE. THAT I’M FUCKING UNSTOPPABLE. THAT I AM CONFIDENT. THAT I AM A FUCKING LION. THAT I GET SHIT DONE. THAT I AM ONE TOUGH FUCKEN SON OF A BITCH.
Sometimes I find it hard to go from 0 – 100 on these, so I start small and build up e.g. just look at myself and send love or send love to others etc. etc.
If it feels bad or clunky I don’t say it, I build up to it until I feel confident to say it.
I don’t want to stand in front of the mirror for 5 mins saying shit I don’t believe in putting me in a negative headspace.
If you try this at home, allow for a little trial and error in regard to what you say.
(6) Start the day and take life by the fucken cahones.
Let me know your morning routine in the comments or how you think I could make mine better.
Stay bold, stay strong, don’t be a bitch and most importantly fuck what other people think, always. 🙂
